<a title=”Salesforce.com” href=”http://www.salesforce.com/” target=”_blank”>Salesforce (a website that specializes in helping business owners with customer service management and cloud computing), is stepping up its game with announcement of a new plugin called Salesforce-to-Lead that promises to “create a solid integration between your WordPress install(s) and your Salesforce CRM account!”

WordPress-to-Lead allows marketers and small businesses who use WordPress a way to add contacts and customers to their Salesforce CRM quickly and effectively. Usually, WordPress users have go through a time-consuming, multi-step process to do this that included cutting and pasting lead info and dealing (many times having to contend with missing leads). Salesforce details the wonders of WordPress-to-Lead:

“You can fully configure all the different settings for the form, and then use a shortcode to insert the form into your posts or pages, or you can use the widget that comes with the plugin and insert the form into your sidebar!”

WordPress is heavily relied on by business owners – it is the number one blogging platform of choice. When marketers ad salespeople get a whiff of this new plugin (created especially for them), it will surely make the plugin poplar soon.
